The African Americans in Gaming (AMG) is a professional support organisation for African-Americans throughout the gaming industry. Its goal is to advance the ownership, employment, governance and regulatory impact of African-American interests. The group welcomes operators, suppliers, legislators, board members and other industry professionals.
Recently, AMG have signed a deal with SBC, to become the strategic partner of SBC’s leading sports betting and igaming summit, “SBC Summit North America 2022” coming up in New Jersey July 12-14th, 2022.
The partnership will see AMG throw the “African American in Gaming’ networking event during the summit, which will help SBC, drive awareness of its busy schedule of industry events. SBC will also through the partnership, give AMG a platform to share insights on making the sports betting and online casino industry more diverse.
According to SBC’s VP of marketing, they entered into the deal because, it is essential for them to ensure that their events encourage discussions on inclusivity and diversity and examining the value of the African American consumers.
The conference will host multiple panel discussions outlining the state of the industry in North America, the challenges faced, and the issues surrounding the legalisation of sports betting and online casino in the region.
