Big Chance Lotto Limited, is the newest entrant into the Nigerian core lottery market. The entity led by a former Director of the NLRC; Dr. Emmanuel Jeminiwa was presented with the license at the headquarters of the NLRC in Abuja.
Director-General of the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC), Mr. Lanre Gbajabiamila gave the usual speech of the expectation of compliance with extant rules and regulation guiding the industry, especially with regards to taxes, to avoid the Commission coming after the new operator.
According to the DG, licensing new entrants is a welcome development for the Commission as it shows that the gambling market is still vibrant enough, to attract and welcome new entrants.
He urged Big Chance Lotto to always report any issues to the commission in order for them to properly carry out enforcement. Also to report any illegality in the course of their operation in the market.
The Chief Operating Officer of Big Chance Lotto; Mr. Oguntimehin, thanked the Commission for the opportunity and promised to make a positive impact in the industry.
