American Gaming Association Q3 Gaming Revenue hits Record 15bn Dollars

According to the American Gaming Association’s (AGA) Commercial Gaming Revenue Tracker, the US commercial gaming revenue reached a quarterly record $15.17bn (£13.31bn/€15.1bn) in Q3, 2022.

This record, is a two percent increase on the previous record of $14.81bn reached in the prior quarter.

The industry’s year-on-year Q3 growth rate of 8.8% outperformed the broader US economy’s 2.6% growth rate in the same period.

The year 2022 is on pace to surpass 2021 as the highest grossing commercial gaming year ever.

According to the AGA President/CEO; Bill Miller, the industry’s momentum in the face of broader economic volatility, points to gaming’s overall health today and gives confidence, as to the future.

Out of 33 Commercial gaming states in the US, that were operational one year ago, 16 reported quarterly highs in overall commercial gaming revenue in Q3 2022, including five of the six largest markets; Indiana, Michigan, Nevada, New York and Pennsylvania.
