Drake had Another Major Win on UFC Sports Betting
Drake wins $1.7million from his bet on Jon Jones and Ciryl Gane fight, at UFC 285.
Drake placed a $500,000 bet on UFC legend Jon Jones to beat Ciryl Gane, to win the UFC heavyweight title in Las Vegas.
Drake in his bet, backed ‘Jones’ to become a two-weight champion in the fight, as he staked $250,000 on the fighter to win by submission, and $250,000 for him to win by knockout.
Jones won the fight by submission which netted the rapper $1.7m, as against $1.3m he would have won, if Jones won the belt by Knockout.
Drake is known for his huge bets and has experienced big wins, as well as big losses. He recently lost $400,000 last weekend when he bet on Jake Paul, a YouTuber-turned boxer to beat Love Island star Tommy Fury in their grudge fight.
The UFC fight saw over 19,000 fans in attendance and raked in a huge live gate of $12.5m, making it the fourth highest grossing event in UFC history, in terms of the live gate.
