Player Wins N2m from Mega Million Naija Lottery Scheme
The Winner
A player, Mr. Oluseyi Lasisi who was said to have played the category of the Euro jackpot lottery and marked four cards for which he won over four thousand Euros, equivalent of which was calculated to be two million Naira.
Mr. Lasisi, who was the winner of the two million Naira, was not present at the presentation but was represented by his friend, Mr. Adekunle Mohammad, who received the cheque on his behalf.
Mohammed thanked management of International Gaming and Entertainment Limited (IGE), promoters of Mega Million Naija lottery, for its contributions to growth of the economy via the lottery project.

International Gaming and Entertainment Limited (IGE), who are the promoters of “Mega Millions Naija lottery scheme, which the winner participated in, said at the presentation in Abuja, that they are obligated to sustain its core value of integrity to subscribers that emerged as lucky winners of the mega millions Naija lottery scheme.
IGE, is licensed by the National Lottery Regulatory Commission to operate a national lottery promotional scheme, “Mega Millions Naija.” According to the Director of IGE, Okwy Okeke in Abuja, being regulated by the National Lottery Regulatory Commission, with a valid license, means that you are legitimate and legal.
The Platform
Mr. Okeke in his speech at the presentation, stated that Mega Millions Naija, is actually a messenger platform that just helps people to buy lottery tickets for the game played either in Western Europe, North America, Australia, and Brazil and that the platform would also help the player to collect the money won, at no extra commission.
He said the company via its activities was also contributing to the growth of the economy via job creation and provision of corporate social responsibility.
According to him, the company employs many Nigerians, and for every naira worth of lottery people buy, the company dedicates a percentage to charity. He said that they are in the process of building a school block at Seun, near Sagamu in Ogun state.
Conclusion
Okeke explained that the company is involved in facilitation of ‘multiple lotteries’ play for subscribers every single day.
He stated that three to six foreign lotteries are drawn on their platform from Monday to Saturday (for example, US Power Ball draw) and millions of naira are given out to random players, and that very soon they would start a local draw for every week.
He concluded that it was important, for the media to be aware of the winnings by Nigerians, for purpose of documentation, confidence building by, local and international regulators, third parties, because lottery thrives on trust.
